What shall I do ?

SK: What will you do when the situation is against you?

NR: Don’t know ......................... :-) !
Your real question is, “what shall I do when the situation is against me?” Isn’t it?

SK: :-) You may be right… !

NR: Does the flute know…which raga (tune) will be played on it in the next moment! :-) Does it know…….!!! Lol The flute has no attraction and moreover no aggressive insistence of any specific raga (tune) and yet all the ragas fluently get played through it beautifully! The flute is ever undisturbed!

You are blessed! The blessed ones come across the situations against them!

Do you really feel that all these years ‘you’ have been playing your flute!? Why not have a look if ‘you’ have been playing this flute or if the flute was/is being played!? Have a look at it once again.

We always feel that the favourable situation is the Grace. But the situation against you is the ULTIMATE GRACE, if you can look at it in this way! The situation against you is the ultimate situation for anyone to realize …to rethink…to reconsider his/her own accepted assumption that ‘he/she is playing flute’!

The situation in your favor keeps you trapped in your own assumptions... misconceptions! You are certainly blessed! The blessed ones come across the situations against them! The blessed ones can look at the unwanted situations with & as the Grace! It is the opportunity of the life time to re-look… to re-consider… to re-check if “you are playing the flute…or if the flute is being played?” It is certainly difficult to accept the truth for someone who has stronger sense of playing the flute himself. But it is extremely easy for someone who has always doubted about him/her playing it. :-)

You must have seen that the situations come n go! Nothing is permanent here........! Have any of the situations stayed back permanently? Why not be grateful to this moment knowing that every difficult situation has always passed away in the past! So why worry n fear for any situation…!! In any case some or the other raga (tune) will anyway be played through your flute..! Believe it or not but whatever tune will be played will the best for that situation! Why not allow it to be played… as nothing is permanent here! The wanted situations will pass along with the unwanted situations too! The situation is not a problem at all. The problem is with the resistance that the flute may assert in any of the situations. :-)

There is no dearth of answers that you may get! There are umpteen ‘heard and read’ answers ready even before the question aroused! :-) The borrowed answers will have only limited validity. Any of the readymade answers will have a temporary effect like those pain killer tablets! Such kind of ‘heard n read’ information (knowledge) sometime may act as the temporary shock absorbers but in a way it also prohibit one from directly ‘experiencing & learning’ the lesson from that situation. The most precious lesson through such situations is the ‘tremendous helplessness’ that one can experience which is the biggest Grace as I see it. Why not be grateful to such situations...!!!!

How much ever it may appear that you are playing your flute, incidentally that is not the reality! The flute that the Lord Krishna is appearing to be playing is just the indication/expression of Him listening to that unstoppable, un-played (Anahat) tune! Krishna and that empty flute are not different! Why not look at it thankfully that the different tunes are being played at different times! Only the tunes are changing! This is the right time to recognize the entity within, which is never changing, which is ever untouched by any of the tunes! :-)

The question came within you and the answer too will come within you! The question was yours and the answer too will be your own!!! The answer that you will get within you will burn not only all the questions but even the ‘questioner’ ….eternally…!! Have faith...! Wish that the’ question-less state’ may get unearthed soon :-)! Thank you so much!

Best wishes with love…..
